It is currently not possible to find out what your password was, as it is encrypted for your protection. To change your password, please email us with the following:
- Currently, Sine Wave does not offer this as a service; however, there are companies that will allow you to dial a toll-free number to access your Sine Wave account anytime. These services are not associated to Sine Wave, and Sine Wave does not offer support for these services. - The most frequent cause of this is misspelling or improper case of username/password. The most common error here is leaving the 'CAPS LOCK' key enabled. It's important to understand the usernames/passwords are case-sensitive (EG: "bsmith" is very different from "Bsmit" and different yet from "BSMITH"). Make sure that you've entered your username/password properly and try again. ns1.sinewave.com 192.171.80.2 ns2.sinewave.com 192.171.80.6 - This is almost always caused by heavy traffic to those sites, which interferes with the connection between Sine Wave and your destination web site. You can think of it like taking a hot shower in an apartment building when everyone else in the building is also trying to take a hot shower. If this is happening to you frequently, then you should consider an upgrade to a faster interenet connection (DSL, ISDN, etc.). - Sine Wave supports all v.90 and Flex technology modems. Sine Wave does NOT support X-2 technology modems (EG: USRobotics). - Sine Wave dial-up connections are automatically disconnected after 30 minutes if no activity has occured. |
