Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions which may help you if you have a question about any of our services. Of course, please feel free to contact us if you still have any questions.

1. I need at least 100 mbs of disk space for my site, but I certainly don't need my own box, how much extra do I need to pay for more space?
   - We offer extra disk space for $1/MB.
   
   
2. Can I set-up an FTP site to allow anonymous uploading?
   - No, we currently do not offer that service.
   
   
3. What types of 56k modems do you and don't you work with?
   - We are compatible with 56k Flex and v.90 modems; our servers are not compatible with X2 technology.
   
   
4. How much does a secure certificate cost? How often do I have to pay the fees associated to it?
   - Anywhere from $150.00 to $300.00 annually, depending on the agency which handles the renewal. Sine Wave does maintain a secure certificate that users may share for $10.00 monthly. Please contact Sine Wave if you have further questions about secure web site certificates.
   
   
5. How often do I have to pay the Internic to renew my domain name registration?
   - The Internic generally has a two-year biling cycle; you'll need to consult your Internic contract to determine your cycle.
   
   
6. Can I pay Sine Wave to renew my Internic registration?
   - No. Your domain registration is a contract between you and the Internic; therefore, you must pay it on your own.
   
   
7. I'd like to host an Adult web site, can I do that with Sine Wave? Are there any restrictions that Sine Wave might impose?
   - Sine Wave can host your Adult site for you; however, you will have to Co-locate a server that is exclusively used by you for your Adult site. Sine Wave imposes a bandwidth restriction, based on the service you sign up for. This may change and affect your montly bill, as Adult sites tend to require much bandwidth.
   
   
8. How do I know how much bandwidth my site is using? How do I upgrade if I need to?
   - Sine Wave uses tools to guage bandwidth and site usage. Please contact us if you'd like to learn about bandwidth and your site. If your web site requires more bandwidth than it's alloted, Sine Wave will contact you and make arrangements accordingly.
   
   
9. Does Sine Wave offer 24-hour support?
   - Sine Wave offers 24-hour support at no charge to our customers who Co-locate with us. Otherwise, Sine Wave charges $25.00/month extra for 24-hour support. Note that Sine Wave is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
   
   
10. My service includes Perl/CGI access, does that mean that Sine Wave will write Perl scripts for me?
    - No. By providing access to you, we are allowing you to execute CGI scripts that you create. We do offer custom programming as a service.
    
    
11. What operating system does Sine Wave use for mail, web and name servers?
    - Sine Wave uses Linux for all servers that we manage and set-up. Our web server is Apache.
